CJ Keossaian(EMT-B) co-founded WestSide Safety with a decade of experience in public safety and production. Born and raised in LA, CJ has worked as a WildLand Firefighter and set medic. CJ is a Nationally Registered EMT and member of The Los Angeles County Fire Department Community Brigade, proudly serving Point Dume. Before entering the Fire/EMS field, he has spent a decade working in Art Department on set for productions, gaining a deep understanding of set dynamics, workflows, and safety needs. His combined background in production and emergency response makes him a calm, capable, and very well versed presence on set. WestSide Safety is a reflection of his commitment to both care and professionalism.
Gabriel Frolick(EMT-B) co-founded WestSide Safety to bring his training and experience in Emergency Medicine to Production. Born and raised in LA around The Industry, he began his career in public safety as a firefighter with the South Salem Fire Department. He went on to serve in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper and Combat Medic. He led the 82nd Airborne Division’s 3rd Brigade Combat Team Advanced Trauma Life Support Squad. After his military service, he continued as a civilian EMT, Ambulance Operator/Attendant in Ventura and Los Angeles counties, working as a Set Medic between shifts. He is a member of The LA County Fire Department Community Brigade serving Point Dume. Westside Safety is the culmination of that training and experience.
